David Shipler presented 'Twilight War, Twilight Peace: The Israeli-Palestinian Conflict' at Mat-Su College

David Shipler speaks at Mat-Su CollegeDavid Shipler, former New York Times correspondent and author of one of the 2011-2013 UAA/APU Books of the Year, "The Working Poor," gave two presentations, a public lecture on the Middle East and a classroom presentation on poverty, at Matanuska-Susitna College on Sept. 25.

"We hope to continue to provide similar opportunities for future visiting scholars at our campus," said Mat-Su College Director Talis Colberg.

The presentations were part of Shipler's visit to Anchorage as a Woodrow Wilson Fellow. If you missed them, fear not. Shipler is scheduled to speak at three upcoming public events at UAA:
