Human Resource Services announces new training registration system and fall 2012 workshops

The Human Resource Services Department would like to announce the launching of our new Training Registration System along with the publication of our Fall 2012 training calendar. The new system will allow us to announce and then track training programs offered through Human Resources. Eventually, we will also be able to use it for Development Day.
Our Fall 2012 training calendar includes popular workshops like "Consequential Conversations," "Performance Management for Employees" (and supervisors), "Hiring Winners" and "Dealing with Difficult Performance Issues." Cost Center training labs; Microsoft workshops on Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; "Americans with Disabilities Act for Supervisors"; and "Respectful Workplace for Employees," to mention a few. We will also be adding two to three new workshops in the near future.
Please go to our website to see the new calendar and register for the workshops. If you hover your cursor over the course title, you will see a description of the workshop. Once you register for a workshop, you will receive a confirmation email. The new system also has the capability for wait-listing employees.
In addition to the workshops already mentioned, we will have a second session of "Reading the Tells," a workshop on reading body language, presented by Jerry Balistreri. The workshop was presented this July and received rave reviews. If you are interested in the workshop, sign up soon as it is sure to fill to capacity.
Also for those departments that might be interested, Human Resource Services also offers half-day individualized DiSC training workshops for intact work groups.
