2012 UAA Campus Bookstore Pumpkin Carving Contest

Sign up today to enter the 2nd Annual Pumpkin Carving Contest! The first 10 people
to sign up will get a free pumpkin. Prizes include $40, $25 and $10 gift certificates
to the UAA Campus Bookstore. Stop by the bookstore or call (907) 786-1151 to enter.

Who can enter?
Anyone can sign up to enter. The bookstore will provide pumpkins for the first ten
contestants to register. After that, contestants must provide their own pumpkins.
Sign-up and location:
A sign-up sheet will be kept at the front counter of the bookstore. Contestants can
register in person or by calling the bookstore at (907) 786-1151. Registration forms
for the contest, pumpkin pick-up and pumpkin turn-in will all be located at the front
counter as well.
Important dates:
Registration begins Monday, Oct. 15.
Pumpkin pick-up begins Friday, Oct. 26.
Pumpkins must be turned in to the bookstore by 3 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 29, to be eligible.
Judging happens Oct. 30 and 31. Entries will be judged by the public.
Prizes (need not be present to win):
1st Place: $40 gift certificate to the UAA Campus Bookstore
2nd Place: $25 gift certificate to the UAA Campus Bookstore
3rd Place: $10 gift certificate to the UAA Campus Bookstore
