Polaris Lecture: Celebrating 80 years of Alaska Airlines, Oct. 18

You are cordially invited to attend the upcoming Polaris Lecture, Thursday, Oct. 18, at 7:30 p.m. at the Anchorage Museum.

The first Polaris Lecture, Celebrating 80 Years of Alaska Airlines, features Bill McKay, former Alaska senior vice president, Alaska Airlines; Susan Bramstedt, former Alaska director of public affairs, Alaska Airlines; and Marilyn Romano, current Alaska director of public affairs, Alaska Airlines. They will discuss the history and future plans of the airline, inside and outside Alaska.

The UAA Honors College and the Cook Inlet Historical Society are co-sponsoring the 2012-2013 lecture series. The Polaris Lecture series is free and open to the public.
