Mark Ayers presents 'Telecommunications Reliability,' Dec. 5

Mark Ayers is author of the book "Telecommunications System Reliability Engineering, Theory and Practice" (2012) and currently teaches at UAA. At this event, he explains the field of telecommunications system reliability analysis, which includes fiber optic, microwave, satellite and mobile wireless networks as well as facility design, power systems (including battery backup) and software/firmware. Having a more sophisticated approach to reliability and availability prediction in telecommunications systems will also be discussed.
