Residence Life, in partnership with Books of the Year, is raising funds for four local organizations: the Alaska Humane Society, Special Olympics Alaska, ARC of Anchorage, and The Mother Lawrence Foundation. Students living in the residence halls and Main Apartment Complex will compete by collecting coins through Friday, Nov. 30.

The residential area with the most "points" will win a pizza party, and all the donations collected will be given to their area's community organization. The winning residential area will be announced on Friday, Dec. 7.
