Student Mobile Use Survey Results and Infographic

Student Mobile Use and Learning Survey PDF In 2011 and 2012 the UAA eLearning Workgroup surveyed the UAA student population concerning their mobile computing habits. Each year more than 700 students completed the survey. We learned that:
  • 85 percent of these UAA students own smartphones
  • 77 percent of these students are checking email through their mobile devices (phones and tablets)
  • 70 percent are accessing Blackboard through their mobile devices
