Faculty Discovery Commons
Tuesday, Jan. 22, 11:30 a.m.-12:45 p.m.
UAA/APU Consortium Library, Room 214 and via eLive

The Discovery Commons is an opportunity for faculty and staff to come together and discuss the current trends in educational technology. Topics might include distance education, social media, Google apps, online teaching and learning, Blackboard, mobile technology or the pedagogical approach to teaching with technology. Our bi-weekly conversations may be structured around the reading of a common text or based in demonstrations of individual faculty work. In either case, the Discovery Commons is an open, free-flowing conversation that welcomes newcomers at any time.

Let's see how we can get your iPad to work for you. We'll look at things from email to displaying in a classroom to apps that help with your teaching. Come with your questions, ideas and favorite apps. Join in person at Consortium Library, Room 214 or online via VTC. For VTC, please contact us at (907) 786-4496 as soon as possible to make arrangements for the VTC to be set up.
