UAA's College of Education assistant professor Robyn Rehmann and UAA field instructor
Wendy Barnett will both participate as leaders in an all-day training called "Parent
Conference: Tools for the Family-School Partnership" on Saturday, Feb. 9. Stone Soup
Group is hosting this event for family members, caregivers and professionals of children
with special needs. Sessions will include a panel discussion facilitated by Rehmann
with parent leaders and professional experts, and workshops that include "Strategies
for Families and Schools," "Bullying Prevention," "Preparing for Life After School"
and more. Barnett will teach one of the workshops.
