Model United Nations 2013: Global Economic Justice, Feb. 21-23

February 21, 22 and 23, 2013 marks the 31st Annual Model United Nations of Alaska, hosted by the UAA Political Science Department. This conference unites high school and college teams from across the state for three days of discussion and debate on the topic of "Global Economic Justice."

The Model UN conference simulates the procedures of the United Nations. Opening Ceremonies are Thursday, Feb. 21, from 5-7:30 p.m. in the UAA Wendy Williamson Auditorium. The keynote speaker, Professor Dorn Van Dommelen, will address this year's conference attendees during the opening ceremonies.

Committee meetings are held all day Friday, Feb. 22, in Rasmuson Hall. The General Assembly and Closing Ceremonies are held in the UAA Wendy Williamson Auditorium on Saturday, Feb. 23, from 12-4:30 p.m.
