Please join the UAA/ National Coalition Building Institute (NCBI) team for the Social Inclusion and Equity one-day workshop for UAA Faculty and Staff.
Do not miss the opportunity to engage in this experiential process, and a series of activities. The one-day workshop will focus on:
- Celebrating similarities and differences;
- Recognizing information and misinformation learned about other groups including their own;
- Identifying and expressing pride in the group(s) to which a person belongs;
- Learning skills to effectively respond to offensive remarks and comments and much more.
Every person counts and every person is important in welcoming diversity to our campus communities.
