Winners of the 2013 Classified Council Chili Feed Cook-Off

Classified Council hosted a successful Chili Feed Cook-Off for its members and anyone else who wanted a taste of spicy chili on Wednesday, Feb. 6. More than 60 gathered in Library 307 to enjoy seven different homemade recipes. 

Thanks to chili chefs Louise Kempler, Sally Fries, Brad Generous, Natalie Kowal, Connie Dennis, Ashlyn Antonelli and Tamah Haynes.

Winners in the Chili Feed Cook-Off were as follows:

• "People's Choice" 1st place winner: Louise Kempler
  She received a Lucy Cuddy Fine Dining $15 gift certificate, certificate for 2 to the production to UAA's "Sense & Sensibility," tickets for 2 to the Planetarium and tickets for 2 to a UAA Seawolf Hockey Home Game.
   
• "People's Choice" 2nd place winners (tie): Sally Fries and Brad Generous
  They received a Lucy Cuddy Fine Dining $15 gift certificate, tickets for 2 to the Planetarium, and tickets for 2 to a UAA Seawolf Hockey Home Game ticket. 

In addition, donated prizes were also available to participating Classifed Council members. They included:

• Grand Prize winner Susan Olson
  She received an iPad Black 16 GB, courtesy of Information Technology Services.
• 1st Prize winner Shelly Rogers
  She received a certificate for mounting a large-format print, courtesy of General Support Services.
