'The Taxes of Our Future,' March 20

The Political Science Association and the UAA College Republicans are hosting an academic
and business panel discussing oil and gas taxes pertaining to the state and nation.
The panelists will include Andrew Halcro, president of the Anchorage Chamber of Commerce;
Dave Harbour, publisher of Northern Gas Pipelines; Scott Goldsmith, economist and
research analyst for energy and natural resources at UAA's Institute of Social and
Economic Research; and Forest Nabors, professor of political science and former business
owner. After the panel discussion, there will be a Q-and-A. Light refreshments will
be served.
