by Michelle Saport  |

Wednesday, May 22, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Hilton Anchorage (500 W. Third Avenue)

Join us in May for an opportunity to find out what's happening around Fetal Alcohol Spectrum disorders (FASDs) in Alaska, connect with families and professionals and provide support for individuals with an FASD, their families and for women who may be at risk of an alcohol-exposed pregnancy.

Local experts and presenters from around the country will provide up-to-date information about fetal alcohol spectrum disorders, including treatment and intervention strategies, research updates and advocacy strategies for professionals, individuals with FASD and their families.

American Psychological Association (APA) continuing education credit will be available through UAA's Center for Behavioral Health Research and Services (CBHRS). CBHRS is an APA-approved sponsor for continuing education. CBHRS maintains responsibility for this program and its content. More information regarding prerequisite knowledge requirements, target audiences, number of credits and learning objectives will be available in the coming weeks.

Funding for this conference was made possible in part by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (grant #1H13DD000973-01).
