May 11, 2013: Yard sale to benefit UAA/APU Consortium Library

Rain or shine, library employees and friends are holding a yard sale on May 11. At least 10 percent of the total proceeds will go to the library. Come shop and support the library, or help by joining the yard sale. Advance notification is required to participate. In addition to the yard sale, a high school student will have a lemonade stand set up as part of Lemonade Day Alaska. The student is trying to raise an additional $3,500 to attend two conferences: the National Student Youth Leadership Medicine & Health Care Conference in San Francisco, Calif. and HOSA National Leadership Conference in Nashville, Tenn.
