UAA Professor Donna Gail Shaw honored with membership in Eleanor Roosevelt Chapter of Kappa Delta Phi

UAA Professor Emerita Donna Gail Shaw, Ph.D., has been selected as an inaugural member of the Eleanor Roosevelt Chapter of the Kappa Delta Pi International Honor Society in Education. This chapter honors men and women who have made significant and longtime contributions of service to Kappa Delta Pi while demonstrating a commitment to its ideals and excellence in education. The chapter was named for Eleanor Roosevelt because of her belief in human rights, her energy and compassion in serving people, her involvement in community service and her commitment to educating youth. Membership in the Eleanor Roosevelt Chapter is a lifetime honor and limited to 100 living members. Kappa Delta Pi is a nonprofit organization established in 1911 to recognize and promote excellence in education, provide a reasoned voice for significant issues and link learning communities of educators.
