Open forums with finalists for Title IX investigator - August 2013

The Dean of Students Office and the Office of Campus Diversity and Compliance invite you to join open forums with the finalists for the position of Title IX investigator.
Title IX states, "No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance..."
The open forum dates for the finalists are as follows:
Meet candidate Stephanie Whaley Thursday, Aug. 15, 2:30-3:15 p.m. Student Union, Room 103 (Lyla Richards Conference Room)
Meet candidate Mandee Mlcek Wednesday, Aug. 21, 3-3:45 p.m. Student Union, Room 103 (Lyla Richards Conference Room)
Meet candidate Marti McCaleb Thursday, Aug. 22, 1-2 p.m. Student Union, Room 103 (Lyla Richards Conference Room)
UAA believes in a zero tolerance policy for gender-based misconduct. The Title IX investigator position will perform key functions to support this initiative.
