Elizabeth Tower Endowment for Canadian Studies soliciting proposals for public speaking funding; apply by Nov. 1

The Elizabeth Tower Endowment for Canadian Studies invites proposals to fund a public speaking engagement of interest to Canadian Studies. Amounts of up to $2,500 will be awarded for publicity expenses, travel expenses and/or honorarium to bring a speaker to campus. The campus or community event must be free and open to the public. Applications are open to community nonprofit organizations, as well as individual faculty, departments or student groups at UAA. The proposal deadline is Friday, Nov. 1, 5 p.m.
