The legislative internship program gives students the opportunity to earn 12 credits and a stipend, while working for a legislator's office in the state capital, during the legislative session in January-May.

Come learn more about this outstanding opportunity for students in pursuit of many different kinds of degrees. To be eligible, you must have reached junior standing by the time you attend the program, and must have completed at least one 3-credit political science course.

Students interested in becoming legislative interns for spring semester 2014 must apply by Oct. 15, 2013. You must apply online. The application also requires two letters of recommendation (at least one faculty) by the deadline.

Students who are considering applying now or in future years are encouraged to attend.
