Did you know a patient could be forced to pass up a lifesaving organ if compatible blood to support the transplant is unavailable? Or that every two seconds a patient in the U.S. needs a blood transfusion?
To help meet this tremendous demand, RRANN (Recruitment and Retention of Alaska Natives into Nursing) will hold a blood drive Sept. 18, in partnership with the Blood Bank of Alaska.
