Spring 2014 CTC tuition waiver application period

by Michelle Saport  |

The Community & Technical College (CTC) awards a limited number of tuition waivers each year in support of student success. The focus of the tuition waiver program is to assist qualified students who are close to completing certificate or degree programs. These competitive awards are open to continuing CTC students in good standing with two application cycles per year (fall and spring semester). The deadline to apply for a spring 2014 tuition waiver is Friday, Nov. 8, at 5 p.m.

What is a tuition waiver? A tuition waiver is not a grant of cash but instead waives tuition charges during the semester of the award. It does not waive fees or other costs (e.g., living expenses, textbooks, etc.). A waiver is applied to the student's UAA account by the registrar at the point of semester registration.

How do I apply? Please visit the CTC website for a complete list of eligibility criteria, as well as the application and instructions. More information about a series of workshops offered to assist students with the application process is also available online.
