The University of Alaska Board of Regents will meet Thursday and Friday, Sept. 26 and 27, at the University of Alaska Southeast's Student Recreation Center, Room 116, in Juneau. Public testimony will be taken in person at approximately 8:30 a.m., Thursday, and 9 a.m., Friday.

The public may also listen and watch the meeting online.

The board will discuss a tuition rate for the 2014-2015 academic year, and consider a proposal by the University of Alaska Fairbanks' School of Management to charge a 25 percent higher tuition rate, known as a differential tuition. Several academic programs are also up for review and approval by the board.

The board will have its first introduction and review of the FY15 operating and capital budgets, but is not expected to take action on the budget proposal until November. The full agenda is available here.
