Sept. 9-16 UAA On-Campus Living Community

Welcome Week, which welcomes new and returning students living in the on-campus residence halls and apartments, may be over, but there are more chances to win with the Color Your Windows contest.

At move-in, each resident was supplied with a special marker specifically for use on glass, courtesy of UAA's MAP-Works program. Now it's time to put those markers to work by decorating your windows. This contest is open to all residents living in the On-Campus Living community at UAA. The Residence Hall wing, Main Apartment Complex stairwell or Templewood complex with the most decorated windows will win a Moose's Tooth Pizza party.

Encourage your neighbors to decorate and trade markers with them for more colors. Residents can upload photos of their window masterpieces to Guidebook. For official rules, judging criteria and a link to Guidebook, visit the UAA On-Campus Living Facebook page or website.

Judging takes place Monday, Sept. 16, at 5 p.m.

Whether students are returning to campus, or living away from home for the first time, the staff members of University Housing, Dining and Conference Services (Housing) and the Department of Residence Life (Residence Lifeare here to help, working together to create an individualized experience for our residents. We provide residential students with the on-campus advantage, allowing them to truly connect to fellow students, classes, campus resources, organizations and activities.
