Celebrate OctSOBERfest with these events on campus, happening as part of National Collegiate Alcohol Awareness Week:

On Tap: 'Donut' Drink and Drive Monday, Oct. 21, 10 a.m.-noon in the Student Union Take the pledge to not drink and drive and get a free donut. Sponsored by the Dean of Students Office.

On Tap: Young People in Recovery Monday, Oct. 21, 1:30-2:30 p.m. in Student Union, Lyla Richards Conference Room Connect with other students in recovery on campus and get support. Sponsored by the Dean of Students Office.

On Tap: Learn the Bacchus Maneuver Tuesday, Oct. 22, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. in Rasmuson Hall This simple maneuver could save your friends' lives. Learn how to stop your friends from choking on their vomit. Sponsored by the Dean of Students Office and Student Health & Counseling Center.

On Tap: Inebriation is Not Permission and 'Donut' Drink and Drive Tuesday, Oct. 22, 10 a.m.-noon in Rasmuson Hall Gain knowledge on the laws and penalties surrounding a DUI and meet UAA's Title IX investigator. Sponsored by the Dean of Students Office.

On Tap: AK-49 Things To Do Without Drinking Wednesday, Oct. 23, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in Social Sciences Building, Lobby Learn about 49 activities you can do in Anchorage without drinking. Sponsored by the Dean of Students Office.

On Tap: ISPI and the FASD Project Wednesday, Oct. 23, 12-2 p.m. in the Student Union Learn about warning signs that include alcohol use and how to help a friend. Sponsored by the Integrated Suicide Prevention Initiatve.

On Tap: What Were You Like in College? Thursday, Oct. 24, 12-1 p.m. in Rasmuson Hall, Native Student Services Native alumni from UAA and UAF will share how alcohol influenced their college experiences and what they are doing now. Sponsored by the Dean of Students Office and Native Student Services.

On Tap: 'Be-Wis-Er' Thursday, Oct. 24, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Student Union Test your knowledge about facts on alcohol and Alaska state laws in this Jeopardy-style game. Sponsored by the Dean of Students Office and Communities Mobilizing for Change in Alcohol (CMCA).

On Tap: Quizzed in the Face Monday, Oct. 21, 5-7:30 p.m. in North Hall You will be randomly asked questions about responsible drinking and the alcohol policy, plus get some candy thrown your way for participating. Sponsored by Residence Life.

On Tap: Responsible Drinking Tips and Information Tuesday, Oct. 22, 5-7:30 p.m. in the Gorsuch Commons Enjoy free root beer floats and learn about responsible drinking. Sponsored by Residence Life.
