Are you stressed about midterms and grades? Well, stress no more. Make a scented stress ball to work out your stress. All supplies will be provided. For those with a latex allergy or sensitivity, please bear in mind latex balloons will be used for this event.

Pingpong Tourney: West Thursday, Oct. 24, 6-8 p.m. West Hall, Lobby

Did you know that pingpong, also known as table tennis, is governed by the worldwide organization International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF), founded in 1926? An Olympic sport since the '80s, it's become so popular in the UAA residential community we had to buy a fresh batch of pingpong balls for the semester. Come take them for a spin at the West Hall Fall Ping-Pong Tournament, offering first and second-place prizes.

Stress balls-we're making them. Be prepared for a sticky mess at first, but, soon after, your stress balls will be dry to the touch and ready to help you relieve stress.

Pretty in Pink: Breast Cancer Awareness Friday, Oct. 25, 6:30-8 p.m. East Hall, First Floor Lounge

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and awareness has never been so sweet. While most people are aware of breast cancer, many forget to take the steps for detecting the disease in its early stages. Stop by, decorate a cupcake and learn what early detection can do for you, as well as your friends and family.

Whether students are returning to campus or living away from home for the first time, the staffers of University Housing, Dining and Conference Services (Housing) and the Department of Residence Life (Residence Life) are here to help, working together to create an individualized experience for our residents. We provide residential students with the on-campus advantage, allowing them to truly connect to fellow students, classes, campus resources, organizations and activities.
