'Rediscovery of Japan,' Nov. 2

Rediscover Japan at this free, public event. Charles Spreckley, former editor of Japan's Metropolis magazine and current Tokyo "urban safari" culture and gourmet guide, will deliver a talk titled, "The Bonds of Silence-Powerful Lessons from Post-Crisis Japan." UAA assistant professor Michihiro Ama will also present a talk titled, "Travel in Medieval and Early Modern Japan."
Parking is not enforced at UAA on the weekends. Presented by the UAA Montgomery Dickson Center (MDC) for Japanese Language and Culture and the ASD World Language Program. Visit the MDC website for more information.
