School of Allied Health tuition waivers available; apply by Dec. 2 for spring semester

by Michelle Saport  |

The School of Allied Health awards a limited number of tuition waivers each year in support of student success. The tuition waiver program assists qualified students who are close to completing certificate or degree programs. These competitive awards are open to continuing School of Allied Health students in good standing with three application cycles per year (fall, spring and summer semesters). The deadline to apply for a spring 2014 waiver is Monday, Dec. 2, 2013, at 4 p.m.

What is a tuition waiver? A tuition waiver is not a grant of cash but instead waives tuition charges during the semester of the award. It does not waive fees or other costs (e.g., living expenses, textbooks, etc.). A waiver is applied to the student's UAA account by the registrar at the point of semester registration.

How do I apply? Please visit the School of Allied Health website for a complete list of eligibility criteria, as well as the application and instructions.
