20131118-foundations-for-successThe Social Committee for APT and Classified Councils is holding a "Foundations for Success" charity drive to benefit Covenant House. Not only is Covenant House the largest youth shelter in the state, they also provide services for homeless youth across the U.S., Canada and Mexico.

The committees are asking for donations of new socks, underclothes, thermal layers, leggings, etc. at any of the following locations: Administration/Humanities Building, Allied Health Services, Consortium Library, Diplomacy Building, Health Sciences Building, Professional Studies Building, Rasmuson Hall, Social Sciences Building, Student Union, University Center and University Lake Building.

Please donate "Foundations for Success" and help make a difference in the lives of homeless Alaska youth. No one deserves to go cold, especially kids. Let's show them they do matter and people care. Collection sites will be set up Monday, Nov. 18-Friday, Dec. 13.
