Students, use Cottonwood Lot for long-term parking over winter break

by Michelle Saport  |

Permit parking enforcement is on hold and will resume the first day of classes, Jan. 13, 2014, at 7:30 a.m. Long-term student parking (over winter break) should be directed to the Cottonwood Lot (near student housing). For students who will leave their vehicles at University Housing, Cottonwood Lot usually provides enough spaces to allow snow removal and lot maintenance in all other lots on campus. A current fall semester, red housing or annual parking permit is required for vehicles parked on campus over break-spring permits have been available online since Nov. 11, but may not be received in time to display before winter break.

Hertz on Demand rental cars will remain in their assigned parking spaces throughout winter break to allow renters ease of use.

If you have specific parking-related questions before UAA closes for winter break on Dec. 24, please contact Parking Services at (907) 786-1119 or the Parking Call Team at (907) 786-1103. During winter break, please direct any parking questions to University Police Dispatch at (907) 786-1120.
