Do you want to become a doctor? Attend the Alaska PreMed Summit and learn how to apply to medical school and become a more competitive applicant. Meet current medical students and doctors in residency training. Hear practicing physicians describe their experiences on the medical education pathway. Take part in a mock medical school interview, tour the Alaska WWAMI medical school and participate in hands-on learning.
High school and college students, counselors and parents are encouraged to attend this free event. The PreMed Summit will also be offered by videoconference-locations will be listed on the website soon. Pre-registration is requested. For registration information, visit the WWAMI website.
