Do you want to help make Anchorage a better place? Join a group of community-minded technologists, organizers and volunteers for Anchorage CodeAcross 2014. Participants will use local, state and federal data to improve Anchroage. Possible projects include writing short straightforward answers to common local government questions, exploring local crime data, testing People Mover bus data in web maps and creating an Open Data Inventory. Technical and non-technical citizens are encouraged to attend (and bring a laptop or tablet if possible). The event is free and open to all. Snacks and beverages will be provided.

On the fence about whether to attend? Check out this flow chart, then RSVP here.

This event is co-hosted by Code for America, Sunlight Foundation and Open Knowledge Foundation. It is one of 45 events happening around the globe this weekend as part of CodeAcross 2014.
