'For Love of Fish' with Bill Hauser, Chantel Justice, Daniel Rinella and Gunnar Knapp, Feb. 24

Come celebrate the life of fish in Alaska. Topics include:

  • An introduction to the fish of Alaska with Bill Hauser, author of Fishes of the Last Frontier - Life Histories, Biology, Ecology, and Management of Alaska Fishes;
  • Life with Fish: Learning from Alaska Native Traditions and Values with Chantel Justice, teacher in the Alaska Native Community Advancement in Psychology (ANCAP) program at UAA;
  • The Future of Fish: A Look at Changing Habitats and Ecologies in Alaska with Daniel Rinella, professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at UAA; and
  • Alaska Fish and the Global Food Supply with Gunnar Knapp, director of the UAA Institute of Social and Economic Research.

All UAA Campus Bookstore events are informal, free and open to the public. There is free parking for bookstore events in the South Lot, West Campus Central Lot (behind Rasmuson Hall), Sports Lot and Sports Nothwest Lot.
