Watch for Seawolf Weekly, UAA's digital magazine, in your email every Wednesday

by Kathleen McCoy  |

Seawolf Weekly, produced only on Wednesdays, will now be sent to all UAA employees beginning today, Feb. 5, 2014. Originally developed for our external supporters and friends, Seawolf Weekly is a curated, content-rich, once-a-week digital magazine that includes the very popular "I Am UAA" profiles, research and feature stories, photo spreads, graphic stories and more.

Both the Seawolf Daily and the Seawolf Weekly headlines link readers back to Green and Gold News, UAA's primary news and feature website. Think of this site as the front page of UAA's digital newspaper, our university's face to the world. This website is updated each week with the latest news and features about UAA. Highlights scroll across the top of the UAA homepage throughout the week.

In addition to adding the streamlined Seawolf Daily for staff and faculty, the University Relations team will be hosting constituent advisory groups during spring semester: one each for staff, faculty and students. We'll engage with these groups to determine best strategies for communicating UAA news to them. What we learn with the faculty and staff advisory groups may shape some future changes in Seawolf Daily.

For students, we plan a mobile-friendly redesign of the Monday and Thursday only student green + gold news. Our student advisory group will help us shape it.

We're excited for the opportunity to make communications with our many different audiences as effective as possible, with your help. Stay tuned for announcements about the advisory groups, coming soon.
