'The Past is Never Dead: Civil Rights Cold Cases and Why They Matter,' March 20

Hank Klibanoff (co-author of the Pulitzer Prize-winning book The Race Beat about the news coverage of the civil rights movement) will speak at UAA. This lecture is free and open to the public. Klibanoff is the managing editor of the Civil Rights Cold Case Project, which uses investigative reporting, documentary film-making and multimedia production to dig out the truth behind unsolved racial murders that took place in the South during the civil rights era.
