'UAA's Catalog is Going Electronic' training, March 26 and 27

by Michelle Saport  |

Wednesday, March 26, and Thursday, March 27, see times below UAA/APU Consortium Library, Room 306

This spring, UAA is switching to an electronic catalog, which will streamline the updating process and take it online, saving an estimated 33 percent of time to update the catalog. Students and staff will have access to an enhanced search engine to easily find detailed information.

The training will teach all end users how to use the CourseLeaf software, including editing and workflow tools. Leepfrog staff will present on how to make catalog changes and content updates, discuss styling issues and provide an overview of the software's most common functions. Attendees are encouraged to bring actual work they need to complete for their jobs (e.g., updates to Chapters 1-9 of the catalog, department contact information, introductions to programs, etc.-not changes to curriculum) to ensure a smooth transition to this new process. Bring your questions.

Each session is a 60-minute training, followed by a 60-minute workshop. Sessions are scheduled for:

Wednesday, March 26: 10 a.m.-noon, 1-3 p.m. and 3-5 p.m. Register here.

Thursday, March 27: 8-10 a.m., 10 a.m.-noon and 1-3 p.m. Register here.
