Free carving class with Yupik artist James Afcan, April 21 and 22

Participate in a free carving class with Yupik artist James Afcan. Carve a pair of snow goggles traditionally used for spring hunting and to prevent snow blindness. Sign up by contacting Karla Booth at (907) 751-7452 or khbooth@uaa.alaska.edu. Attend the Monday, April 21, or Tuesday, April 22, class. All supplies will be provided. This event is free and open to the public.
