Tuesday, April 22, 7:30-9:30 p.m. UAA/APU Consortium Library, Room 307

Archaeologist Lilian Dogiama is investigating why the ancient people of Çatalhöyük appear to have reveled and venerated hunting and "the wild" even after making an economic shift to farming. Dogiama will discuss hunting projectile points and the material culture that may shed light on this archaeological mystery.
