You won't see them dancing on stage, but alumnae technical geniuses Melissa Jabaay (B.A. Theatre '10), Erin Campbell (B.A. Theatre '12) and Jess Pervier (B.A. Theatre '12) are critical to the success of New Dances, designing and running lights, managing sound and serving as production assistant and stage manager alongside Director Brian Jeffery in this new Mainstage Theater production running April 11-20. With 50 dancers and 10 dances choreographed by guest artists, faculty and stand-out students, it's a lot of moving parts to manage. Get a behind-the-scenes look with our dress rehearsal slideshow.

You'll see graduating senior Dayoung Yoo, who was tapped to choreograph a dance, entitled "Story," that features, among many talented dancers, freshman Katie O'Loughlin. Also, keep an eye out for Timothy Eby, a mechanical engineering student with a dance minor.

This year's guest artist, Nicholas Young, of STOMP fame, opens the production with "is it about time." For more show details, check out the full press release.
