National Wear Denim Day Thursday, April 24, all day

Recognize National Wear Denim Day, held in honor of a woman who was raped by her driving instructor. The woman pressed charges, but the case was dismissed after the chief judge decided that "because the victim wore very, very tight jeans, she had to help him remove them, and by removing the jeans it was no longer rape, but consensual sex." Please wear your jeans and Support Denim Day button today as a visible sign of protest against the myths surrounding sexual assault. Show off your button at the National Denim Day booth in the Student Union to get a cupcake from Sugarspoon.
