Registration now open for 2014 Lemonade Day Alaska

Lemonade Day is a free program sponsored by the UA Center for Economic Development that teaches youth about business by having them start their own small business: a lemonade stand. The materials take kids from a dream to a business plan, while teaching them the same principles required for starting any big company. Kids are inspired to work hard and make a profit; they are also taught to spend some, save some and share some by giving back to their community.

Now in its fourth year, Lemonade Day Alaska has grown from 1,000 participants in its first year to an anticipated 4,000 registered youth statewide this June. Be part of the action and sign up today at alaska.lemonadeday.org. Group registrations are also available.
