Alan Fugleberg is the new director of Kodiak College

Alan P. Fugleberg has accepted the position of director of UAA's Kodiak College (KoC). Alan was chosen from a group of finalists in a competitive, national search. He brings several years of higher education experience to the KoC director's office, specifically in the areas of student affairs, grant writing, workforce development and academic program evaluation and assessment. Alan has held several progressively responsible positions at the University of Montana, and has served as the assistant director for Academic Affairs and as an assistant professor at KoC since 2011. He holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Montana.

Barbara Bolson, who has served as director of UAA's Kodiak College since 2006, will retire on June 30. Mr. Fugleberg will begin his work as KoC's new director immediately.
