Be bear aware: Black bear and cubs spotted on campus

Black bears by the ConocoPhillips Integrated Science Building on Wednesday, June 11.
A black bear with two small cubs have been seen around the Goose Lake trails and East Campus. Please be aware of your surroundings as you walk around campus, and please stay clear of the area if possible. If you encounter the bears, do not approach them.
