Summer 2014 - Public health alert: Unusually high influenza activity

The State of Alaska Department of Epidemiology has reported unusually high influenza activity in the state. They recommend flu vaccinations for those who have not already been vaccinated. The Student Health and Counseling Center (SHCC) will have plenty of vaccine available until June 30.
If you would like to protect yourself with a flu shot, contact the SHCC at (907) 786-4040 to schedule an appointment or simply walk in to the SHCC office (Rasmuson Hall, Suite 120). Flu shots cost $15. During summer, the SHCC is open Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., and closed for lunch from 12-1 p.m.
