NOTE: The partial closure of Alumni Loop and the building cooling shutdown to the Engineering Building, Natural Sciences Building, UAA/APU Consortium Library, Fine Arts Building and Administration/Humanities Building has been rescheduled to Monday evening, Aug. 11, through Saturday, Aug. 16. This delay is due to equipment shipping issues. The below story has been updated to reflect this change.

Building cooling to the Engineering Building, Natural Sciences Building, UAA/APU Consortium Library, Fine Arts Building and Administration/Humanities Building will be shut down Monday evening (Aug. 11) through Saturday (Aug. 16). This is to conduct repair work on existing storm drain lines at Alumni Loop and UAA Drive. Cooling shutdown is necessary because cooling well discharge is dumped into the storm drain system for disposal.
As noted in the image above, Alumni Loop will experience a partial closure Monday evening, Aug. 11, through Saturday, Aug. 16. This is necessary to access the repair locations for the storm drain. The East Campus Central Lot and Central Parking Garage will remain accessible during this period.
