Exhibit: "You Want To Be An Artist???"
Location: Student Union Gallery
Gallery hours: Monday-Thursday, 10 a.m.-7 p.m.; Friday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
Show dates: Monday, Aug. 25-Wednesday, Sept. 24
Opening reception: Thursday, Aug. 28, 4-6 p.m., in the Student Union
"You Want To Be An Artist???" is an exhibition of recent work exploring the concept of art as a career by Jenna Gerrety, winner of the 2013 No Big Heads Self-Portrait competition.
Now through Sept. 24, the gallery is also hosting an Art Trading Card Wall as part of the exhibit. To participate, design your own mini trading cards (traditionally 2.5" by 3.5", but always smaller than 4" by 6"), bring them with you to the gallery, then pick any card already on the wall and exchange it with one of your own.
