UAA celebrated the grand opening of the Alaska Airlines Center in early September, kicking off the festivities with a Golden Ticket sneak peek event, grand-opening ribbon-cutting ceremony, Faculty Research and Creative Activity Showcase, student-athlete reunion, SpringHill Suites Volleyball Tournament (Seawolves won, HOWWWWL!), youth sports camps and the Spirit Run. Later events included Taste of Alaska, Service Before Self, Alabama Shakes, Food Truck Rodeo and Drive-In Movie, and Howlapalooza. Check out a complete listing of events.
