Fall 2014: Get your flu shot to stay healthy this winter


Did you know our plan pays 100 percent of the cost of a flu shot under the preventive benefit? To make things even better, we're offering several on-site flu shot clinics at the UAA campus.

Tuesday, Oct. 28, 9 a.m.-noon Rasmuson Hall, Room 120

Thursday, Oct. 30, 2-4 p.m. University Lake Building, Room 104

Friday, Oct. 31, 9 a.m.-noon University Center, Room 144

Staff from the UAA Student Health & Counseling will be on-site to give flu shots. All you need to bring is your Premera ID card. No payment is necessary. If you are not covered by the UA Choice health plan, just bring your other insurance card or information to let them file a claim for you.

If you are not on campus at these times or are at a UAA rural campus, please be sure to contact your provider or pharmacy for information regarding flu shots. You can also go directly to the UAA Student Health & Counseling Center to get your flu shot.

The plan pays 100 percent of the allowable cost for routine immunizations such as flu shots. For more information on preventive services covered at 100 percent of allowable charges, please visit the UA Benefits website.
