Center for Human Development announces 'Ton in Ten' Ice Bucket Challenge

by Michelle Saport  |

As part of this year's "Ton in Ten" peanut butter and jelly drive, the Center for Human Development recently announced a challenge to encourage donations to the black barrel in their office (located off-campus at 2702 Gambell St., Ste. 103).

The deal: TAPESTRY staffers Dayna McGuire, Catie Wheeler and Marg Halloran will do a version of the Ice Bucket Challenge in the Cuddy Quad on Monday, Nov. 24, at 3:30 p.m., if and only if the barrel is filled by 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 21.

If the barrel is filled, TAPESTRY students who are all caught up on their UAA coursework will have the opportunity to pour the buckets of ice water over their chosen instructor/advisor.
