Tlisa Northcutt, development director for Athletics, was recently honored as the Outstanding Fundraising Professional of the Year by the Alaska Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP). She was recognized at the organization's annual National Philanthropy Day luncheon on Nov. 21.

Tlisa was recognized for her unceasing dedication to fundraising. Tlisa is one of the most successful development officers in UAA's history and has been an integral part of the development team, providing leadership, mentoring and strategic planning for UAA staff, committee members and volunteers. University leaders and members of the development team rely on Tlisa's knowledge, skills and generosity.

Her service on local boards and committees is distinguished by her willingness to both assume leadership and bring out the best in other volunteer leaders.

Tlisa not only engages others to support UAA, she also contributes financial support and volunteers for many other organizations.

We are proud to have this exceptional fundraising professional on our team.
