UAA MBA students win global business competition

by Michelle Saport  |

A team of three UAA graduate students-Marvin Anunciacion, Jason Smith and Danny Reeves-competing against 607 other college teams placed first in The Capstone Business Competition after their virtual sensor manufacturing company registered the highest profits, cumulative profits and stock price in the eight-round competition.

The Capstone Business Competition is an ongoing challenge (and the focus of the graduate M.B.A. course, BA 686 - Management Simulation) wherein student teams from universities around the world act as executive groups running their own virtual company and making decisions affecting finance, marketing, human resources, production, product development, product positioning and ultimate sales, production efficiencies and profitability.

For more detail about this great accomplishment and the competition, please visit the College of Business and Public Policy website.

Congratulations, Marvin, Jason and Danny!
